The building boom that has lasted for some time now has generated significant growth in the mortgaging sector in recent years. Despite the massive increase in orders, rapid processing of finance applications and competent advice must be guaranteed. Professionalism and reliability engender a high level of customer loyalty and, thus, secure one’s position vis-à-vis the competition.

For ING DiBa, too, mortgaging is one of the fastest growing core products in its portfolio. In order to be able to cope with this unprecedented growth in orders in recent years in a customer-oriented manner, the project OCR/ICR was launched in the summer of 2006. The main focus was to be on optimizing processing operations, accelerating data access and allowing for same-day processing of all incoming requests. Upon successful completion of the project, these objectives had been achieved, and today the bank has in place a comprehensive, powerful solution for processing incoming mail.
